Municipal Railway (Muni) C-line streetcar #606 at the end of the line. (the terminal would be moved back to 2nd and Cornwall in 1949. The recruiting ad 'Join Now - The New Regular Army - 428 Market St' painted on the side. (Former Market Street Railway streetcar #206 renumbered #606 after the 1944 merger in order to avoid confusion with Muni unit #206.)
